Partnerships
One of The Group's most important long term partnerships is with the privately owned Berry Bros. & Rudd Ltd.
Edrington has supplied Berry Bros. & Rudd with blended whisky for its brand Cutty Sark Scotch Whisky since 1936 and today is responsible for all aspects of producing Cutty Sark - blending, marrying and bottling. In 1998, links with Berry Bros. & Rudd led to the formation of a company called Cutty Sark International which is responsible for all aspects of the sales and marketing of Cutty Sark blended whisky and The Glenrothes malt whisky. CSI is a jointly owned company sharing in the development of the Brands.
North British
The Group is the joint owner of The North British Distillery Company Limited, Scotland's largest grain distillery. North British supplies grain whisky to The Group - and a large number of other companies in the Scotch whisky industry.
Maxxium
One of the more recent partnerships Edrington has entered into is in Maxxium, a global distribution venture with three other partners (Remy Cointreau, Beam Global Spirits & Wine and Vin & Sprit, owners of ABSOLUT). Maxxium operates in over 60 countries around the world distributing a portfolio of premium drinks brands on behalf of the shareholders.
